Sport, Culture and Community Events

Ormiston learners have regular opportunities to participate in a wide range of sporting activities during the school year, including cycle skills, cricket, tennis, rugby and dancing. A range of cultural groups operate within the school, showcasing the diversity of our school community. Some of our learners participate in the inter-school competitions that are held each year, including soccer, cricket, dance, chess and speech competitions. Our learners often excel at these competitions!

Our Whānau days provide the opportunity for parents and caregivers to come and see their children in action and share in their learning.
